Mom's Day Treats
We're almost done with the first volume of Half & Half! So I guess you could say we're almost half (& half) way there!! haha...errr...*crickets*
First off (before beginning any shpill) we wanted to send out a big Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely mom's out there! We know you put in countless hours of work for no thanks, but that's the job you signed up for when you decided to have kids! Enjoy! XD
(I kid I kid...kinda.)

I was actually planning on doing the "catching up" post today, but instead you get to hear about my kids - yay you! ;)
So my youngest daughter is almost two and she doesn't talk...or at least she still speaks 'baby-talk', and while it's fine and we've been assured by the pediatrician that she's healthy, sometimes it's just difficult because by this age our eldest was able to not only identify letters but also tell you at least 2 different animals that start with that letter. Pass today is ilovemom. And while I know that our youngest has many qualities that I'm so proud of (like she is the toughest little booger you've ever seen but at the same time wears her heart on her shoulder, or that she loves to dance, or that she smiles readily at everyone that comes into her path, and that when she laughs her entire body radiates happiness) sometimes it just gets frustrating that she won't tell me what she wants to drink, or even just to call out for me by name.
So it came to a huge surprise when the other day while sitting on the couch doing laundry she turns to me and easily and pointedly says "Mama". I was so shocked that I didn't know what to do. She then inched closer to me and said it again. At this point I'm jumping all over the place exclaiming "Yes, that's me I'm Mama!" My husband then comes into the room wondering what in the world I'm going on about, and after I tell him he picks up our daughter and gives her a big smooch to which she replied "WOOOOW!" LOL - he then says, "Yeah, I have that effect on the ladies." =___=
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up - we will be making some changes here in the next month or so (mostly cosmetic) but still if you come and things have changed don't be too surprised! :)
Also - we need staff! So join us now! Please?
