Amazing Netflix

Has anyone realized there are more and more Netflix original jdramas?  I sure have. 😁  For the past 10 years I haven't been able to watch jdramas due to Japan cracking down on streaming websites and BitTorrent.  Unlike Korea, Japan is mighty stingy with sharing their licenses outside the country.  However, lately Netflix has figured a way around this by creating their own content which then can be shared on the American Netflix.  Hot dog, it's about time (and yes, I said hot dog)!  So far they've done a good job too.  Netflix has way better quality than their cable counterparts and not to mention money too so they can invest in decent graphics and more diverse story lines.
For my top ranking shows on Netflix I'd have to go with Full Metal Alchemist (the movie), Mob Psycho 100, Blazing Transfer Students, Kakegurui, Re:Mind & Erased.  These are just my favorites so far, but maybe someone else has others to add that I'm not aware of yet.  Also, those mentioned were just live action shows, not anime.  Netflix does have some great anime original shows too though.
Anyone have any other recommendations for me to watch?  There are still waaaaay more kdramas than jdramas, but they're getting there.  Give Netflix a little more time and I'm sure there will be plenty of them.

Now finally, the latest releases and it's a special month at that!  We bring you 4...  Yes, 4 releases!!  Of the 4 is the finale chapter of Piece!!!! 😵😲 Another series complete and under our belts.

  3. Wow, I went back and checked and saw that you guys have been scanlating Piece since 2012. What an amazing accomplishment to have completed ten volumes of manga. Although I don't read much shoujo these days, Hinako Asihara will always hold a special place in my heart for her slice of life manga, thank you so much for having brought Piece to the rest of us!

  4. Wow, congratulations on finishing Piece!! As for recommmendations (I will definite check out Erased, as I liked the Anime&Manga already, and Kakegurui) - do you also have Amazon prime? I've just noticed recently that they also have a decent selection of Jdrama. Of those I really recommend Happy Marriage!? and Fukuyadou Honpo :D

    1. Yes, I do have Prime. I was unaware there were jdramas on Amazon though. I know Amazon Japan prime has a ton of them, but you can't watch them outside of Japan. I will look into your suggestions though.

    2. I only stumbled upon them by chance as I've finished watching most of the anime on prime^^ Mine is Amazon France Prime btw, I don't know about the US or other countries ...
Thanks for your Netflix recommendations, Erased was a great show - Netflix jdramas seem really more convenient with their English dubs for doing other stuff while watching them (on Amazon prime most have only subtitles so that kinda needs your full attention)...
