Land of the Rising Sun

Guess where I'm going guys! If isn't wasn't blatant enough from the title and that huge picture up there, then I don't know what else to do~

After many years of saving up and wishing, I am finally going to set foot on the land I've been dreaming of for years, for the first time! *whee~* If you can't tell, I am super excited and I have thus decided to brush up on my Japan knowledge so be prepared for all my future post to be Japan-related! (at least...until the trip is over...XD)

If any of you went there before, do you have any tips for me? (I'll mainly be in Tokyo...I think) Such as where to eat, places to shop, places to avoid, etc~

{RELEASES}
I think it is time to implement passwords, and I have a really good idea how! Not only will it be helpful to learn something, but it'll be fun too!:D (but I'm pretty sure some of you are very knowledgeable about Japan..XD)
So, instead of looking for the password in a post...my version will be in the form of simple Q&A. (e.g. I post a question and the password will be the answer!) Easy enough? Alright, let's try this out!:D

Q: What do Japanese people say when they are leaving the house in the morning?
A: *password*
Edit: Forgot to note that the password is not capitalized at all...hope that helps some people~

Ano Ko to Issho volume 05 chapter 18: Don't worry, the password won't be that hard and it will be in romanji and if you want...you can google it or something..:P

  1. Thanks for the upload. I can't seem to get the file to unlock though. Is this the word you are looking for: いってきます ? If it is, I can't figure out the romanji spelling. If it isn't, I am not sure which word you are talking about...

    1. ^ the password isn't capitalized, it does matter :d it's basically the romanized version of anon's comment ^^ but note that romanized the little っ doubles the next consonant so it's "-tte" ... I hope I'm not spoiling too much!

  4. Omigosh, I'm so jealous!! I was just in Tokyo this summer for a 3 week program and I fell in love with Japan!! How long will you be staying in Tokyo/which part? You'll love it there! What do you like? If you like characters like Hello Kitty, Bear's School, Rilakkuma, etc then I recommend the store Kiddy Land!

    1. Haha, well..I'm jealous you get to spend 3 weeks there. I'll probably only be able to spend about 10 days there...(I already feel like it's too short..XD) Haven't decided which part of Tokyo to stay in, hopefully somewhere near the train station so that I can go to lots of places~ (any recommendation?) I like anime/manga stuff? Lol. Oh cool, I might check out Kiddy Land just for the heck of it!:)
